Stepping Out On Faith When The Odds Are Stacked Against You

I have definitely defied the odds and can speak from experience that "it's not about where you were, but where you go! Growing up poor in Stockton, California, with limited resources, I fought hard for the opportunity to participate in higher education and someone. I tried hardly have escaped the hands of death at the age of eighteen years, if I take my own life to have the harsh road and lies that whisper in my mind about my self to flee. But my mother is hard work and struggle, give mySiblings and me better ways superseded these lies and gave me the power, press, and women I am today.

As an American military veteran and prevailing entrepreneur, I know that my intention to give a voice to women from all walks of life through the pages of my publication, Average Girl Magazine, and by sharing my story. I know that stepping out on faith when the odds set against me, in a way that only God knew I could be stackedHandle.

Now you understand me wrong. I had many days, which fears any entrepreneur, the first stage, the steps on the faith: Hearing that your idea is good, but because you no resources (eg money), you will never make it possible. In the past four years I have heard every excuse from the high powered business people just starting out, that there was no way I be in a position, these companies will grow, because I do not the thousands of dollars behind me. If I were a quarter for every time IHearing this, I would be able to buy a condo ... in the Hamptons.

So, when you give up "? Or in the jargon, "When you start executing your exit strategy?" When every door closes in your face? If you turn your phone on the bill collectors to avoid? If your spouse you that "this bull is starting *&^%" look? When you by faith? My whole life has had traveled on the fight against the odds and the road at least. There is something in me that simply mustMarch to a different drum beat.

The day that I tried to take my life, was the real beginning of my journey through faith. I had my doubts about who I was and what I could be to distort cloud my vision and my faith. When I swallowed the pills, but something whispered that I was worthy of my mind ... that my family needed me more than I knew. God told me I'd always be somebody to him ... If I would believe only, and will have the faith. He told me that he needed a gift to me to come that hadfrom ... if I would only believe. I was moving and walking in faith, since that day.

I will admit that there are days where I do feel like giving up on everything. What man does not? I think back on everyday tasks, according to this "stupid" idea of entrepreneurship and the way to work for someone else because at least then I would have a steady paycheck, health insurance and the coveted 401 (k). But then my spirit would die, and that scares me more than not with a paycheck.Sometimes I think I will be a foreigner. Why else would I risk my safety to save my soul?

Last Christmas, I was called to sit in a Christmas play "The Gift" when I heard a character say something that I am an "Ah hah!" Moment. The sign says: "God's gift to you is potential. Your gift to God is what you do with that potential." How deep this statement to me was because I realized that my potential is my goal and my goal is my giftto God, but only when I move. The blessings come, not until you move.
One of my favorite quotes is from inspirational Maya Angelou: "I can change me because of what happened. I refuse to be reduced." What this means to me is that no matter what happens to my business or my life in a purposeful journey, I am not going to change it, that to me is the essence. I am a child of God and he gave me my intention ... no matter the odds, I have to fulfill it. I can see, feel, touch, even smell it. The goal!

So what's the matter? What steps have you to pursue your goal? There is an old Chinese proverb says: "Ambition knows no obstacles." I think 2007 is the best time to be ambitious and determined. What do you call the divine nature, know that He brings you to potential end blessed - a gift. Use to keep your faith and move towards fulfilling your purpose.

Know that this is the year of the completion of your ... whatever may be the forYou. Believe in your gift, work on your gift, and share your gift. But more importantly, write it on a piece of paper and carry it with you in your wallet or purse and when you have a moment when you feel as if the world comes down on you - and it will, because that is life - take it and repeat it to yourself until you feel calm enough to get it back in and away you go with your day.

Remember! Life is not easy. If it were, we would not have a chance to show God, the DivineIts what we do with his gift to us. Your goal is waiting for you. Purpose get started on your plan today and do not get your past the roadblock to your Purpose-Driven Life to be. MOVE! It is time to step out of the faith.

Stormpay, 12 Daily Pro and the Internet Farmers

Work on the Internet can be dangerous if you are not careful, you can get a virus or a Trojan horse, opening an e-mail could unleash a dangerous worm that can distract, abducted and spied on. As long as you are aware of the dangers, you can make reasonable arrangements to and enjoy the Internet in safety. Sometimes, however, the danger comes from an entirely unexpected direction. The following is a true story, but some of the names have been changed to protect the innocent.

Once, not so long ago that chicken farming is a popular Internet calling. After all, most of the eggs used in one form or another. The biggest gains have been acquired by farmers, it could afford to invest most in their businesses. But with a little work and careful reinvestment, were the poorer farmers can build their portfolios and their situation improved. Although not everyone was able to see the benefits of chicken farming, it was overall a good life and even people with no previousInvesting experience and little capital, have their own businesses.

Sour Grapes said: "You are safer working for a boss."

John Farmer said: "I must try, I will never work well for a boss."

Experience said: "diversify".

As more and more chicken farmer has been successful, word spread and more and more people are interested in the business. Many people participated in chickens in a small way to supplement their wages from everyday jobs. The people wantPoultry industry, it did not take too much of their leisure time and they appreciate the extra income it brought them.

Sour Grapes said: "It is not a real job."

John Farmer said: "If it works as planned, you can leave your job.

Experience said: "diversify".

One day, a new generation of birds was to be imported chicken-raising community. A few intrepid farmers, the new bird, its shares and found that it was just as easy to breed, as every day chickens. The largeDifference was the new bird laid golden eggs regularly every 12 days. The new bird was a 12 Daily Egg Provider, I call them daily 12 per short.

Sour Grapes said: "No such thing as golden eggs".

John Farmer said: "I've heard it's true. I want to try it."

Experience said: "diversify".

Word quickly throughout the community, the daily 12 Pro, actually lay golden eggs disseminated. Each egg produced daily by 12 per was often worth the value of an ordinaryEgg. More and more farmers started, rear some12 Daily Pro alongside the common hen. People who have never even sat down earlier than chickens up to 12 daily per farmer.

Sour Grapes said: "It will not last a month."

John Farmer, said: "Even just a few golden eggs, I get more money than I've ever dreamed of."

Experience said: "diversify".

Everyone turned on experience and asked: "Can not you say something else, apart from"Diversification"? "

Experience said: "Even egg farmers need to paint multiple streams of income, not just one or two to develop. Grow some crops in passing as a mechanic, pictures, everything, not just rely on one or two incomes sources. You never can tell what the future brings "

Everyone was amazed at the length of this statement by the normally taciturn experience, but soon forgotten, and few people took the advice. New farmers kept Daily Pro 12 is the only stock because itcould not see the point in the rearing of birds, which could only produce ordinary eggs. Even some of the experienced farmers began to reduce their number of common hens and relied more and more to 12 per day.

Sour Grapes said: "It will be all ready by Thanksgiving."

John Farmer, said: "I've never been so much money so quickly."

Experience went back to "diversify", but when everyone turned around and stared at him, he added: "They would miss chicken eggs, if notall ".

Thanksgiving came and went, and in less than one years, was 12 Daily Pro, many farmers very rich and there was a growing tendency to give in the community, and breeding hens for 12 Daily Pro farming.

Sour Grapes said: "It is about Christmas."

John Farmer said: "I do not care much for eggs anyway".

Experience said: "Without eggs there were no cakes: pancakes, meringues, omelets ..."

Christmas passed quietly for the farmers, butJanuary brought them a shock. They discovered that all the chicken feed is in the whole world was taken over by a notorious ex-farmer, ex-lawyer named Mr. Stormpay. Stormpay informed the farmers that they had the choice of feed buy it at inflated prices or go without, and let their birds starve. This kind of choice is called a "Hobson's Choice" on the Internet, which means "scampay.

Sour Grapes said: "Behold, I was right."

John Bauer said: "There is noAlternative. "

Experience said: "... mayonnaise, pasta, pudding ..."

The farmers paid Stormpay for the feed industry, but he did not deliver. He kept the money of the farmers and gave all the feed they had in the swill to his pigs holding paid. The farmers tried to Stormpay about the injustice of the situation, but he used lawyers excuses. As Stormpay had all their money, the farmers could not afford to employ lawyers to help them. Without food, 12 Daily Pro golden eggProduction stopped immediately. The most common chickens were able to continue with their normal eggs, because the larvae and greens, they could not have been to some of the holdings, but, as the farmers so much to 12 per day, it had focused a lot of chicken peck could survive on the left, eggs were scarce and the agricultural community experienced terrible suffering.

Sour Grapes said: "Should not put all your eggs in one basket".

John Farmer said: "It was a mistake to give,Stormpay to blackmail. "

Experience said: "Shakespeare was right lawyers.
