Motivation Tricks - Beating the Christmas and New Year Blues

It is the time of the year.

Snow.

Sleigh Bells.

The Christmas business.

Off from work for some, the busiest time of year for the others.

Our schedule changes from focusing on work or school is preparing for the holidays. Although we have our own traditions, it seems that the December will be the annual tasks of each month, either by putting up a Christmas tree and lights, shopping, visiting friends and relatives, food preparation andParties to eat, and eating, eating and more. Fun for most. Sad or lonely for others.

A week after Christmas comes New Year, when we realize that we do not really reach those resolutions, we at 31 December of last year. What we know about at 1 January, totally excited about, and we are no better forgotten, or worse than last year. Let us make the same resolution again and vow to work harder? Or decide to do something quitedifferent?

Here are some tricks to get you so motivated, you can be both a relaxing holiday season and push the new year feeling great:

1. Do you have a realistic plan for what you want to achieve.

Too often we have a massive list of what we want for our vacation time at the end of the year to do movies that we want to see, places to visit, home projects, we also want to meet, and people with whom to get together. The first few days we will onlyrelax, and before you know it, we have used all before our time, and it's back to work.

2. List of events that you think you get stressed the most, and next to each article, the worst that can happen.

Is it a relative you can not stand, or a company function in which participation is mandatory, and you fear this, too? Or are you expected to offer the perfect gift for "just surprised me," and know you have a 99% chance that you make a mistake? Write it down,to read and know, the worst that can happen. Once your mind is for this you will realize the most of IT is not really a big deal, and your stress level drops prepared.

3. Relax.

Have planned throughout the day, when done you can simply just relax, or a couple of things in the morning and enjoy the rest of the day. Enjoy a dinner. Suppose a church service. Watch a full day of football. Playing cards. Go drive for a country. Surf the Web. PlayTouch football. Master, the video game. Skiing (or snow depending on location). You need to have a realistic planning and the dates you reach each point done in advance so that you know you have one days for non-stressed relaxing reserved.

4. Plan for the coming year.

Instead of New Year's resolutions, as always, fit, lose weight, and try for more money, a different approach. Decide on the final state for 31st Write to December of next year andit down. On 31 December is, how much do you weigh? How many books have you read? How much money did you do? If you lose 10 pounds in the next year, you will do throughout the year, but committed. Some will reach it in the first month, others will be by 1 December or later, wait. If you read 20 books they can reach you sooner or pace yourself. With this approach, you can achieve some of your goals before the end of the year (read 20 books) andother measure (weight) on the last day of the year. Too many people leave their decisions in the first few weeks of this approach can not give up when you either make it or not at the end of the year.

5. Give.

Is not just to friends and families, but people who know you are not likely. Donations to the food shelves, not just a can of corn or beans from the cupboard, but enough food to help more families. Drop off toysone of the local programs, or adopt a family and buy gifts for them. Donate money to all the programs that our soldiers serving in the army or write letters or send care packages to support our troops. There is always someone worse then and it feels good to give, and you will see that many of the events that you are trivial on stress.

To enjoy the rest of the year, and do things, it will end a great year.
